Anyone use maismore poly brood box on a wooden floor?

Nope, but I often use Abelo poly brood boxes on wooden floors, like this time of year when I'm short of kit. I'm not familiar with Maisies brood boxes, are they same footprint as a standard Nation hive?
The abelo ones are; so everything is nicely interchangeable.
It's the Paynes ones that are a different footprint.

Maisemores are 500mm square from memory. I like NP use abelo which are the same footprint. I've used Payne's before now which are also 500mm square and I personally have found to be a pain

Oh dear.
The catalogue claims compatibility, but obviously that word is open to interpretation.
I have to build a broodbox but was thinking of trying an empty flat pack poly as they're cheap and Maismore is not really that far away.
Then again I need to build a floor too so there's that option to try in poly

I only have Abelo poly hives and they're class, basically.
