The BBKA will be launching a second petition to coincide with the National Honey Show in October to specifically ask for changes in legislation so that every jar shows the country/s of origin. A blend of EU and non EU honeys is not acceptable.
The BBKA will also be launching a National Honey Day on October 21st to highlight the issue to the public.
There is a talk, a live webinar, about the subject - free but we need to book - on Wednesday 19th October at 7:30pm.

For me, to see a jar that contains EU and non EU honey, it means that it could contain just about anything in there. And probably not much real honey, sadly. Maybe the talk will give us more information.

May your bees read the same books as you do.
