That's pretty well what my Son did. He lived in a cage in the utility room (not my son but the hog)- after a few days we were starting to think that the hog would actually survive and the wound steadily reduced in size. A happy ending. We have noticed a much larger proportion of males to females - maybe that's why numbers are declining?

I didnt think refined sugar was fine, however whats is the "sample diet"? do you have website link for it?
