Adam - I agree regarding Barnyard Bees. Some of the stuff he says is interesting but there's 90% waffle on his videos
Caroline - thanks for the info. I hadn't thought about Bee Inspector stuff just yet - as I'm still yet to get my first bees. I'll certainly take that advice on board.
Mick - I'm near Ferryhill so not too far. My brother lives in Billingham. I'll have a look at Cleveland beekeepers. The two nearest me are Darlington and Durham. I'll try attend at least one meeting to see what they're like.
I'm glad to find someone in the local area. If you'd be up for a newbie shadowing you during an inspection I'd appreciate it.
