We always seem to need more kit Chris!

As I have built hives, nucs etc over the years which are subtly different, I am wondering on whether to make a whole bunch of stuff that's identical which does make life easier.

However will I dare throw away the old stuff - just in case I need it - and finish up with even more equipment rather than making my life easier which is the plan?

Now I do get rid of old stuff rigorously. I went through a phase when first starting out that I bought all kinds of junk that I then realised I had no use for. Now phase 2, I got rid of it. Even old brood boxes that are no good get modified into transport boxes and go. These boxes are good as the same design makes a good 5 frame transport box
