I'm clearing out a hive and alongside a big heap of moth cocoons on the inspection board was a large"Cuban cigar"of tightly rolled up green leaves.
Was it related to the moth activity?

I'd try smoking it and see if it that mariaguanna moth been around.....

Tobacco is meant to deter pests, course baccy strands are used as bedding by pigeon fanciers as for this reason.
