What have you done today bee-related?

did an inspection on a colony in an out apiary, doing very well indeed and running out of space, added a brood box to give em lots more space as i dont always get to it on a regular basis. Popped over to another apiary to seal up and strap up 4 colonies up in readyness for moving tomorrow.

Made up 3 queenless nucs early April. 2 now have very nice looking mated queens. The third, there is a queen but no eggs.who'd have thought it

Tried to decide whether to clear and harvest the first supers of rape honey....Some are now almost fully capped....
And it's only April......

Yes and no Chris.....the new workforce is a few weeks behind the flow...which will be over before they are foragers.
But I'll take what I can get
