I never thought about which trees bees get resin from, never mind that some resin was better than others or the bees might have a preference. You can image the discussion in the hive on an evening. Ive been down to the Birch this afternoon, what a load I got, I nearly stuck my feet to the entrance on way back in. Her mate with a great come, you mean you missed the chestnut! and it was even half a mile closer.
