Honey Jars

I live in Scotland and having a problem this year in getting the standard 1lb glass honey jar at a reasonable price i.e. around 50p incl lid. Is this the norm around the country?

Funny you mention that. I spoke to Compak in Bristol a while back and at the time they were out of stock of 1lb jars.

My local association bulk buys the pallet, think it works out about 32 / 33p each. Delivery is usually the killer.

It was a firm based in Bristol so not likely to be very useful for Scotland I'm afraid.

Compak, Wynnes, Freeman and Harding etc may all be worth a call around for a bulk delivery to Scotland or their may be more local suppliers who can help out for a pallet or two.
