Now the season has just began and I've potentially lost 75% of the crop so far...
I thought I'd look at jar prices and rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic
I have previously bought (comparitively small quantities) from Freemans,Wares and disastrously Jars Direct but this time, of all places, it is Hobbycraft.
They undercut everyone by a wide margin and
there's a branch in town so we did a click and collect and saved the delivery fee.
I've checked them over this morning and the quality is just fine unlike one of the previously mentioned places.

I usually use Freeman and Harding, however I'll look at Hobbycraft next time.
Thanks.

Some prices might be helpful.
We use Rawlings in Leeds (used to be compac). Admittedly we get the VAT back but last order we paid
12oz Hex 27p/jar (ex vat)
8ox hex 23p/jar (ex vat)
Lids were 9p/lid (ex Vat).

You do need to purchase a lot of jars to get that price.....but it m ight be worth associations buying in bulk (as many do) and passing on these saving to their members.
