By the way, my honey is just ever so slightly better than all of yours, especially Nigels ;) :D :D :D
That would be why your near next door neighbour comes to Wynyard Farmers Market to buy my honey :) The guy with all the shooting badges.... :D

Talking of Honeys.I was fortunate enough to have hives sat next to a field of field beans. It is stunning honey. Alas the marketing for "Bean Honey" is not strong...

I too have honey brought to me occasionally from far flung places. I really have enough of my own but it's a nice thought none-the-less.
As we all agree, the honey our bees produce is so so much better than what is obtainable from the supermarkets. It would be good if Trading Standards could devise a test that can easily identify the syrup-in-a-jar honey which is always a "blend of EU and non EU honeys" and get it off the shelves. Maybe go to the main importers first.

100% non EU.

I must admit I don't know anyone with a load of shooting badges and I know quite a few people who shoot and none of us serious shots would ever stoop so low as to wear a badge, its almost as bad as people who have the advanced school of motorists badge on their car  He must be a clay pigeon type, they can only hit things that fly in a straight line. :D

Well my stepson thought he was the expert marksman with his .22 air rifle and took to the woods he managed to bag two sqirrells
One by richochet and the other fell out of the tree laughing
At one point I thought he was laying down a thick carpet of spent pellets in order to starve the game to death

Did you get the wrong bus Jo? ;)
Well I definitely caught the wrong bus, ended up at Scarborough. No honey to be seen, but on the plus side got to watch a pod of around 8 bottlenose dolphins frolicking in the North bay. Quite spectacular.
But has put me off bus travel, full of OAP's with bus-passes and severe colds, coughing and yussing constantly. Don't people ever learn that it's not good to share your cold, flue or other bugs around. An enclosed bus is an ideal breeding ground.

Last time I went on public transport was a severely overcrowded train, luckily pre COVID.Sardines would have had more room.It got worse with each stop until finally two arrogant lycra clad aholes pushed on with filthy bicycles.
Never again
