That is bad luck indeed. Now dreading sorting out last years supers which were fumigated and should have been sealed....

All my supers are stacked with a sheet of monoflex inbetween every three boxes..upto now touch wood all my supers are clean..

Luckily just starting out with the honey game,I managed to get all mine in the freezer- just hope I can get them on without shattering them all.

Steve is monoflex like a soft thin correx ?
usually black- wickes sell it for about 4 quid for an 8x4 sheet
I've got it on some stands and the little sods have even burrowed into that.
Expensive ,but I wonder if some roof tins in between and a dirty great ratchet strap squeezing it all down might be the answer.
Way cheaper than another freezer.

Not sure if they eat it in other parts of the country but they don't touch it here..
